This Privacy Policy explains how SEI EUROPE TECHNOLOGIE SRL processes personal data when you visit www.seieu.com, submit a business enquiry or choose to use our live chat.

When you contact us, we process the name, email address and message you submit and any additional information you choose to provide. If you select the optional marketing checkbox, we also receive that preference. When you access the website, the hosting service may process technical information such as IP addresses, request timestamps, requested URLs, browser information and security events. If you enable live chat, Tawk.to may process chat messages, connection details, cookies, local storage and visitor identifiers.

• Business enquiries: to answer questions, prepare quotations and respond to requests about ATS products and technical services. Where relevant, this is based on steps requested before entering a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Website security and operation: to operate the website, diagnose failures, prevent misuse and maintain network security, based on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), subject to applicable rules.
• Optional promotional communications: where you explicitly agree, to send information on products or services, based on consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You do not need to accept these messages to send an enquiry.
• Optional live chat: to provide the communication service you choose to enable. The chat widget is activated only after your optional privacy selection; any device storage or access requiring consent is based on that choice. Messages are processed to handle your enquiry.

Information may be processed by authorised company personnel and providers supporting website hosting, email and communication services, including Hostinger for hosting and Tawk.to for optional live chat. Providers receive information to the extent needed for their services and according to their respective roles and contractual terms.

Our optional live chat provider, Tawk.to, states that it processes information in the United States. According to its published privacy documentation, it relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or contractual transfer safeguards, as applicable. We keep enquiry data for the time reasonably needed to respond to the request and manage related follow-up. Where an enquiry leads to a commercial relationship, relevant records may be retained for the duration necessary for contractual, accounting, legal or dispute-resolution purposes. Technical access and security records are retained according to the operational and security needs of our hosting service. Consent choices for optional website services are normally saved in the browser for up to 180 days, unless you change them or clear your browser data. Chat records are subject to the account's service settings and applicable retention requirements.

Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing.
